How to Update Galaxy Y Back to Official Value Pack Gingerbread 2.3.6 OS from Jelly Bean 4.1 or other Custom ROM using ODIN

Here is what many users were waiting for. Some Galaxy Y ROMS over the internet have been reported to be unstable and users have been trying hard to get back their Galaxy devices to normal condition. This has been due to the instability of ROMs for ICS upgrade in some Galaxy Y devices. While the same ROMs work fine for many, there are some devices which are coming up with innumerable bugs. But, rectifying so many bugs will take quite sometime. So, we have decided to show users the step by step process to get their Galaxy Y restored back to normal. By following this process you will be able to unroot your Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 and restore it back to the factory default Gingerbread Android 2.3 OS.

Requirements : 

1. PC or Laptop with Samsung USB Driver Installed.

2. USB Data Cable.

3. ODIN

4. Android 2.3.6 update (Indian)

Instructions to Install:

Step 1 - Extract all Files in you PC.

Step 2 - Install Samsung USB Driver in your PC.

Step 3 - Switch off your Mobile and Reboot with Download mode by Pressing 

              Home Button + Volume Down Button + Power Button together.

Step 4 - Open S5360odin Folder and Run Odin3 v1.85.

Step 5 - Now connect your phone to PC via USB Cable.Conform it by Seeing the following Image.

Step 6 - Click on the BOOTLOADER and browse for the file (BOOT_S5360DDKK1_REV05)

              in the folder Galaxy Y 2.3.6 Update (Indian)

             Then Click on the PDA and browse for the file (PDA_S5360DDKK1_REV05)

              in the folder Galaxy Y 2.3.6 Update (Indian)

             Then Click on the PHONE and browse for the file (MODEM_S5360DDKK1_REV05)

              in the folder Galaxy Y 2.3.6 Update (Indian)

             Then Click on the CSC and browse for the file (GT-S5360-MULTI-CSC-ODDKJ3)

              in the folder Galaxy Y 2.3.6 Update (Indian)

Step 7 - Finally Click on the Start Button and wait for few minutes a Green Signal will seen in the first box with a message Passed !

Step 8 - Remove your phone from the PC after conform it. 

              That's all finished your phone will be rebooted automatically and looks like this
